Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz vodka preferably chilled
  • 1 oz green apple schnapps
  • 1/2 oz lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup can adjust for sweetness
  • a few drops green food coloring
  • Edible shimmer dust edible shimmer powder for shimmering effect
  • ice ice cubes

Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Fine mesh sieve

Method

  1. Add vodka, green apple schnapps, lime juice, simple syrup, a few drops of green food coloring, and some ice cubes into a cocktail shaker.
  2. Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until the mixture is well chilled and slightly frothy.
  3. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into chilled martini glasses to remove any ice shards and ensure a smooth surface.
  4. Once poured, lightly dust the shimmering edible shimmer powder onto the surface of each drink for a mystical, glowing effect.
  5. Gently float a small spiral of lime peel on top or place a spooky decoration if desired for extra Halloween flair.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy the vibrant, shimmering green potion with its crisp apple aroma and mysterious glow.

Notes

Ensure the shaker is well sealed to avoid spills while shaking. For an extra glow, the shimmer powder can be added just before serving to maintain its sparkle. Chilling the glasses in advance helps the drink stay icy and visually appealing.
