Ingredients

  • 8 pieces Oreos preferably without filling if you want more cookie crunch
  • 1 cup cold milk use dairy or non-dairy milk of choice
  • 1 cup frozen ice cubes chilled or frozen beforehand for best texture

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method

  1. Place the Oreos in the blender and pulse a few times to break them into smaller chunks, but leave some larger bits for texture.
  2. Add the cold milk to the blender, pouring it over the crushed Oreos. This helps everything blend smoothly.
  3. Drop in the frozen ice cubes, ensuring they are evenly spread out on top of the other ingredients.
  4. Secure the lid tightly, then blend on high speed for about 30-45 seconds until the mixture is slushy, creamy, and looks well combined with small cookie bits visible.
  5. Stop the blender and check the texture; if it’s too thick, add a splash more milk and blend briefly to loosen it up. If it’s not icy enough, add more frozen ice cubes and blend for a few seconds more.
  6. Pour the slushie into glasses and serve immediately with a straw or spoon for an icy, crunchy treat.

Notes

For extra flavor, try topping with whipped cream or drizzling chocolate syrup before serving.
