  • 1-2 teaspoons honey or agave syrup optional, for added sweetness

Method
 

  1. Add the frozen pineapple chunks to your blender and pour in the fresh lime juice and pineapple juice, if using.
  2. Throw in the mint leaves for that refreshing herbal aroma.
  3. Secure the lid on the blender and pulse a few times to start breaking down the frozen fruit.
  4. Blend on high until the mixture is thick, smooth, and fully frozen, with no large chunks remaining. You should hear a consistent whir and see a bright, icy texture forming around the blades.
  5. Taste the slush and stir in honey or agave syrup if you'd like a touch more sweetness. Blend again briefly to incorporate.
  6. Pour the slush into glasses, and garnish with a sprig of mint or a small lime wedge if desired.
  7. Serve immediately, enjoying the thick, icy texture and burst of tropical flavor with each spoonful or sip.

Notes

For an extra zing, add a dash of grated lime zest. Feel free to experiment with herbs like basil or add a splash of rum for an adult twist.
